8.2 TIS-Office Odometer Repair Utility

Until the TIS-Office 2.4 program version, odometer readings were taken from

driver cards. In some cases, this led to misinterpretations. From TIS-Office 2.5,

odometer readings will be taken only from mass memory files. Here the

odometer readings are assigned to tachograph charts that have already been

filed, or kept in a buffer for 90 days, assigned to newly added tachograph charts

and saved.

Follow these steps to transfer the odometer readings from successfully archived

vehicle download data to the evaluation of driver card data.

Important

With the installation of TIS-Office 2.6, all existing odometer readings of every

digital tachograph chart are deleted during conversion of the database from

version 2.4 or earlier on version 2.6.

With the help of the Odometer Repair Utility, these odometer readings can now

be recreated, based on mass memory files in the IFS folder or in the archive.

Starting TIS-Office When TIS-Office 2.6 is started, the program detects whether the Odometer

Repair Utility has already been used on that particular database. The following

message informs the user that updating of the odometer readings has not yet

taken place.

Important

Close TIS-Office before starting the Odometer Repair Utility.

1 Insert the TIS-Office product CD into the relevant disk drive.

Stop the installation if this has been started automatically.

Important

The Odometer Repair Utility is only available in English – and it can only be

called up once on the TIS-Office Server.
