7 Select the folder and click on [OK].

The dialogue box will close and the complete path is displayed in the BackUp

Folder box.

8 Click on [Backup] to start the backup function.

A message will be displayed telling you that backup has been successful.

9 Confirm the message with [OK].

The backup is saved under the database name to which the current date is

added, e.g. "SV_TIS-Office_14Feb2007.bkp".

Tip

If an error has occurred, a corresponding message will be displayed. When you

have confirmed the message, you can debug and repeat the backup. Possible

errors could be:

• Server name not correct.

• Server does not belong to the company to which the manager is assigned.

• User name and password not correct.

• Folder permission has not been set for the backup folder.

Starting the Service

10 Start the TIS-Office Service.

Right-click on the Service icon in the notification area on the taskbar and select

“Start“ from the shortcut menu. Confirm the message asking you whether you

want to start the service with [OK].

11 Click on [Cancel] to close the "Backup and Restore Utility for Company Manager"

dialogue box.

You will return to the main window where you can select another function.
