Check Data Integrity

This feature is used to check the database for invalid chart data. This could be

required after converting a KISCAN database into TIS-Office database format.

You can search for

• Chart without modes: The system checks for chart totals without

corresponding activity data. These charts can be deleted.

• Chart Total Not Same As Mode Total: The system checks for differences

between the totals for each activity on the chart and the corresponding

totals in the modes list, e.g. for driving time etc. These charts can be

recalculated.

Tip

For database security reasons you should perform this function at regular

intervals.

Tip

A log file is saved every time this function is performed. For each listed entry

displayed in the Check Data Integrity dialogue box a corresponding entry is

added to the log file.

You will find the log file in your TIS-Office application folder, e.g.

"C:/Program Files/Siemens/TIS-Office/Logs".

Before deleting any chart data record you can check the log file for details.

Important

You should always save a backup file of the database before deleting any chart

data records.
